Metadata is information embedded in all Microsoft® Office and PDF documents. It may include the last ten authors, file paths and editing time, track changes and comments, plus much more. You may never see it, but it is there. Metadata is an endless audit trail. It is easily uncovered. There is no way to turn it off and there is no limit to the amount of data which accumulates.

It integrates with multiple e-mail systems so users are prompted to remove metadata from documents attached to e-mails prior to sending.
Document management system integrations allows you to take profiled documents
clean them and automatically save and profile it back into the DMS system. Batch file processing allows users to clean multiple documents, a directory or an entire directory tree in a single operation.
